DSM Pension Services
DSM Pension Services BV (DPS) is the expertise centre for DSM in the fields of pensions and asset management and the integral service provider for the DSM Netherlands pension fund (PDN) and the pension fund of SABIC (SPF). The latter was founded in 2003 after DSM had sold its petrochemical activities to SABIC a year before.
DPS has a permit from the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM) as well as a European passport (FSA) for its activities in the fields of investment advice and asset management.

DPS acts as DSM’s global expertise centre in the fields of pension and asset management and related governance activities.

Pension service
DPS handles the administration of the collective pension and pre-pension schemes for the pension funds as well as the communication about these schemes.
Asset management
DPS advises the pension funds on investment strategies and all related subjects. Its asset management department is responsible for the tactical and operational management, making selective use of external asset managers for special mandates.
DPS provides management support to the pension funds and represents the funds on the board and committees of the Dutch Association of Company Pension Funds.
DPS handles the communication activities for the two pension funds and is a member of the Pension Communication Platform of the Dutch Association of Company Pension Funds.
DPS advises the pension fund boards on the setting up, implementation and execution of risk management and compliance.
DPS handles the financial administration of the funds as well as all periodic reporting activities.
Non-Dutch pension funds
DPS advises DSM’s non-Dutch pension funds in the fields of pension and asset management and related subjects
DSM Pension Services B.V. is a 100% subsidiary of Royal DSM N.V. and has a staff of 71 (67 FTEs).
