Children and Pension

Children and pension seem a very odd combination, but there is a connection between the two: your children receive an orphan’s pension if you die. If your children should loose both parents, they will receive an even higher pension from PDN.
You do not need to report the birth of your children to the pension fund, at least not if you live in the Netherlands.
Read all about the PDN orphan’s pension in the brochure “Partner's and Orphan's pension” on the right. If you have a question about this, you can also e-mail our Pension Desk using the “Ask a Question” button. Or to contact us by another means use the “Contact” button. You can find detailed information about divorce and pension in the second chapter of the regulations.
