Early retirement

Early retirement is very topical at the moment. In recent years, the government has tried to discourage early retirement by various means.
Officially, DSM employees retire at the age of 65. However, there are options for bringing forward the retirement date. In the past, DSM has had a variety of systems for allowing early retirement. Many of these have been abolished, but their effects are still felt in a number of ways. So it isn’t easy to find out what the options are for you to take early retirement.
The brochure “Early Retirement”, which you can find on the right-hand side of the screen, explains how it all works. You can also find the form that you need for early retirement there. If you want precise details of the rules for early retirement, look at Chapter 2 of the regulations. If this doesn’t answer all your questions, go to “Ask a Question” and send an e-mail to the Pension Desk.
