Exchanging a Partner’s Pension 

As an active member of the PDN pension fund you accrue not only old age pension, but partner’s pension as well, which your partner receives if you should die.  When you retire, you can opt to exchange this pension for a higher old age pension, for example if you have no partner, or because your partner has accrued old age pension him or herself.
