Retiring on a pension

You’re nearly there! You’ll soon be enjoying your retirement – you have a lifetime of work behind you and the rhythm of your life is about to change. Finally you can do all the things you’ve never had time for. Your daily life is not the only thing that’s going to change. Your finances won’t be the same in future either. They’ll be organized differently: instead of a salary you’ll have a general state pension and a private pension. Before you get to that point, you may have a few important choices to make. If you’ve already stopped working before the age of 65 you’ll have made some of these choices already.
