Early retirement
PDN still has various early retirement schemes for employees born before 1950. Depending on the DSM company you work for, the scheme may be the PPS, VIP, early retirement or FPR.
The schemes differ from each other but they also have points in common.
Two elements play an important role in all the schemes:
- Pension accrual
In most cases no further old age pension is accrued. This relates to the old age pension paid out from retirement age, but also the associated partner's pension. - Early retirement benefit
This is (mostly) a benefit paid from the age of 62 until the retirement age of 65.
To be eligible for an early retirement scheme, you must fulfill the conditions of the early retirement regulations applying when payment of the benefit begins.
- There are many different early retirement schemes and conditions. Not all of them are described on this website. PDN writes to members who have taken early retirement in person to give them information about their pension situation. If you have any questions, you can contact the DPS Pension Desk. You’ll find the contact details under ‘Contact’ in the column on the right.
Important to know:
- There’s a lot of information on this website that also applies to members who have taken early retirement. If in doubt, ask the PDN Pension Desk.
